Coming of Age as a Traveler

The John Soane Museum
The John Soane Museum houses a large collection of pieces that he accumulated from different places around the world. When he was on the Grand Tour, he didn't have the ability to buy all the things that he wanted to, much like Lucy.

    The National Gallery
While Lucy was in Italy, she witnessed a bloody murder, much like the one that has taken place in the painting Judith by Liss.

The National Gallery houses paintings of several views, some like the ones Lucy would have seen in Italy.

                                                                    Tate to Tate
The boat ride from Tate Britain to Tate Modern allowed us to see many different views of London.

  1. I really like your quote at the end, it is so true! I also really like your picture from the boat ride.I especially like how you captured the bridge, river, and cathedral.

  2. I also enjoyed your quote, it says a lot about traveling in general but I also think it says a lot about Lucy's traveling. Her traveling is like reading a book of her life that she discovers one page at a time.

  3. You located a number of beautiful shots. When you are using someone else's images (such as at the Sloane), be sure to credit your source.
